Group Report for ESH ( email group at mylist) - Sep 2023
ESH began early when the internet world was taking off, before video conferencing and zoom. It is still an email group, with some of the original members, and lots of long term sobriety. Recently, we’ve had some Japanese members who are using computer translations, and sharing some Experience, Strength and Hope with other Japanese alcoholics in recovery. When we carry the message, we let go and let it heal where it will. I encourage newcomers to consider an email meeting where one can save and read or reread shares any time, and it is easy to relate one on one. Also, most email meetings, as we do, have a sponsorship list given to the newcomer. ESH is the first place I attempted sobriety in 1997, and I love still being active in that meeting today.
